Rebecca Taylor F/W 2012

If I could buy a collection in its entirety, Rebecca Taylor’s F/W 2012 collection would be my top choice, no exceptions.

Although, I assume when she designed her clothes, she imagined them worn by a stylish, sophisticated, edgy and intelligent lady; when I saw the collection, I imagined it being worn by, well… me.

The color combination of dark neutrals harmoniously matched many beautiful deep colors and worked flawlessly with her mixture of fur, velvet and delicate fabrics.

And the shoes? Don’t even get me started. The fur booties some models wore were absolutely to die for.

The makeup was grungy, but minimal, each model wore loose pony tail twisted braids.

Here are my favorite OF my favorites in the collection:

What did you think of her collection?

Rebecca Taylor graduated from the Wellington School of design and launched her first collection, Rebecca Taylor, in 1996. Taylor has been designing for her line ever since.

“The Rebecca Taylor collection is best known for providing the eternally evolving modern girl with fresh, feminine clothing to compliment and refine her individual sense of style,” Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week describes.

As a supporter of the ASPCA, Rebecca Taylor uses ethical furs in her collections. Taylor also supports philanthropies such as the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, the North Shore Animal League, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Phoenix House, CFDA Fashion for Action, the Children’s Dream Foundation, and last, but not least, is the co-chair for the NYC Shop for Opera benefit.

Rebecca Taylor  is now distributed over 40 countries and has been featured internationally in numerous leading publications.
